About our club

Queenborough Yacht Club (QYC) is situated on the Isle of Sheppey in the historic maritime town of Queenborough. Queenborough Harbour boasts deep water mooring on the Swale at all states of tide and it’s location allows easy access to the River Medway and Thames Estuary. The Clubhouse is situated at 7 High Street, Queenborough, less than 200m from the All Tide Landing managed by Queenborough Harbour Trust (QHT).

Our club house is a friendly and family oriented facility with a comfortable bar and dining room, sunny outside garden, large conference room for training and presentations, showers and changing facilities for visiting yachtsmen (available for a nominal charge) and kitchen serving delicious home cooked favourites. A small supermarket and several take-away establishments are within short walking distance if required when the kitchen is closed.

The club holds regular social events and new members are always welcome regardless of whether you are new to sailing or have sailed around the world. Exploring the Swale and local waters will appeal to all levels of ability and experienced local yachtsmen are always on hand to provide help and advice.

Members have exclusive use of a 12 metre, deep water pontoon attached to the All Tide Landing.

Visiting clubs are always welcome, as are all members of the sailing fraternity.
